I heard an interview of Tony Alva on NPR, who apparently is like the godfather of skating and who the movie is partly about. I think I'd put it in a little better company than what you've suggested. But then, I haven't seen it and you're a liberal so you probably won't like it anyway.

I just think that the way it's being advertised, it resembles those other very lame movies, therefore, I will not see it in theaters, nor will I probably rent it. I will instead donate the money to an organization benefiting a womans right to choose, or supporting gay marriage.
